Loyola Press author Bert Ghezzi will speak at the 27th annual Holy Toledo Catholic Charismatic Conference on October 17. In conjunction with this year’s conference theme of “The Cross: Our Door to Mercy”, Ghezzi will present themes from his book, The Sign of the Cross. Ghezzi is also the author of Mystics and Miracles and the newly released Voices of the Saints.

Four Loyola Press authors are participating in the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Theology on Tap. Theology on Tap, sponsored by the Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago, is a speaker and conversation series where young adults learn more about the Catholic faith and share in conversations with their peers.
The Loyola Press authors who are participating are Santiago Cortes-Sjoberg, Joe Paprocki, Fr. Michael Sparough, SJ, and Greg Pierce.
- Santiago Cortes-Sjoberg’s talk “Liturgia: La Expression de Fe de una Gente” will be at St. Charles Borromeo on July 12, St. Agnes of Bohemia on July 26, Holy Family on July 31, and St. James on August 5.
- Joe Paprocki’s talk “Bring Your Bible and Let’s Walk Through It Together” will be at St. Barnabas on July 19 and St. Barbara on July 22.
- Fr. Michael Sparough’s talks “Teach Us to Pray: Reflection on the Lord’s Prayer” and “Why Be Catholic?” will be at Holy Name Cathedral on July 19, St. Francis of Assisi on July 20, St. James on July 21, Old St. Mary’s on July 22, St. Barnabas on July 26, St. Sylvester on July 27, and St. Barbara on July 29.
- Greg Pierce’s talk “Carrying Out Our Baptism in Work, Relationships, Politics” is at St. Emily on July 26, St. Bartholomew on July 27, and Our Lady of Grace on July 28.
